MAIN GOAL :
Lead the Product Development strategy of HM.Clause products up to their launching and coordinate the setting up and trials evaluation of those varieties within Export North area in collaboration with our sister Business Units.
Provide the technical expertise and product knowledge required both internally and externally along the product life cycle for the area.
Enhance communication and coordination between the sister BUs and Marketing and Breeding teams in HM.CLAUSE.
MISSIONS :
MID TERM STRATEGY
- Contribute to run, from a product perspective, business reviews made by Sister BUs with the aim of describing the current situation & anticipate future needs
- Identify gaps & opportunities within the current HM.Clause product range to communicate to Marketing and Breeding teams of HM.Clause
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- As HM.Clause's products technical referent, coordinate PD activities of our products with Hazera and VMK PD teams and our distributors of Export North area
- Contribute to design local trial plans & validate them. Ensures that they are consistent and accurate
- Consolidate all local trial results & trial synthesis and draw a product advancement proposal (advance, stop, retry) for the country,
- Ensure results and conclusions of trial results are shared within the PD community and internally at HM.Clause with PMs and breeders
- Once the decision to advance the variety is made, decide & formalize in collaboration with our sister BUs the new variety positioning in terms of unique selling points.
PRODUCT RANGE DESIGN & UPDATE
- Monitor together with the ASM the product range coherence from a technical, sales & quality performance perspective (including introduction & withdrawal of products)
COMMUNICATION, PROMOTION & TECHNICAL SUPPORT, in collaboration with the Sales Manager(s)
- Participates to the design of promotion actions of new varieties
- Bring technical knowledge to the Sales team about new & existing varieties
- Train the sales team, as well as product advisors
PRICING
- Challenge the introduction price for new varieties and the price positioning of the commercial range proposed by Sales Manager(s) from a value pricing perspective
CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS
- Follow up in collaboration with sister BUs the settlement of claims & complaints for the area and provide an appropriate reporting to the claim comittee
PROJECTS
- Take part in cross-functional projects related to PD activities such as new App implementation
- Coordination and organization of technical trials (e.g. coating on small size carrot batches, new sweet corn treatment
- Provide technical expertise and support related to Food Chain activities
- Sweet corn coordination in EMEA / help Sales Manager to follow-up ASIA scope
LEADERSHIP: full time project manager, mentoring or supervision, no direct team members
- Agronomy degree and crop management knowledge

Scope: Poland, Germany Swiss, Austria, GB, BENELUW, Scandinavia.
Location of the position could be ine one of those countries.
Regular travels in the area are required and to headquarters in France.
